The production output of Nokian Heavy Tyres will be adjusted to reflect a weaker demand. The order book for heavy tyres has decreased and demand estimates for 2012 have weakened.

Goodyear's new RunOnFlat technology is based on the concept of reinforced sidewalls inside the tire. When a standard tire deflates, it simply collapses under the weight of the car, allowing the beads to come off the rim and the sidewalls to be squashed onto the road.

Vredestein unveils the Wintrac Nextreme SUV at the Essen Motor Show

The Essen Motor Show is taking place in Germany from 25 November until 4 December. Apollo Vredestein will be back again this year with its 'Premium Styling' concept, and of course, all eyes will be on the new winter tyre from Vredestein: the Wintrac Nextreme SUV. In addition to the various tyres that make up the Premium Styling concept, the Vredestein stand will also showcase its collaboration with premium car stylers Carlsson and Lumma.
