Infinity Tyres sponsors rallying in Greece

Infinity Tyres, believes in the power of sport, and Rallies have always been a very good place to see how Infinity tyres perform under extreme conditions. This year, Infinity have been sponsoring Greek rally pilot, Stratos Fotinelis and his rally car, a 1995 1.3 Suzuki Swift Gti, who is expected to participate a several of these events in his native country.

For 2012, Fotinelis has already participated in the famous Ritsona Hillclimbing Rally, one of Greece’s most famous car races, and one which has been taking place since 1956. The Rally in question is held around the Greek village of Ritsona, population 227, located 7 kilometres West of the town of Vathy and Northwest of Athens.



Fotinelis has stated that he has had a passion for motorsports since he was a child. This passion first led him first to study aircraft engineering, but soon enough he followed in his father’s footsteps, who was a European Championship motorcycle pilot, and from the age of 18, he actively participated in the Panhellenic Games Car Championship, winning a total of 31 times the title of Champion of Greece.

Mr. Jorge Crespo, European General Manager for Infinity Tyres, stated that Infinity “loves sport and loves to support sport in all the markets where it has a presence. Our sponsorhip of this driver in Greece is proof of our support for the Greek market”.
