TIF Industry Factbook

The scale of the popularity of imported tyre brands within the UK and mainland Europe has been highlighted in the Tyre Industry Federation’s (TIF) new industry factbook.
The book which is freely available from the TIF website, offers a guide to the UK tyre industry from manufacturer to end of life reprocessing and includes various useful tables, charts and information about the UK’s tyre industry.
There are thought to be more than 300 brands on sale in the Europe sourced from more than 45 countries around the world. Indeed, tyres sourced from non-EU countries now account for 52 percent of the 47½ million tyres consumed within the UK each year.
